One phone conversation should establish the vehicle, exact location, price and availability. A visit is only agreed once the provider confirms the details.

Describe the situation.
Use the short call script and identify your parking location. Say whether anyone is locked inside.
Ask for an assessment.
Explain a secured trunk, missing or faulty fob, or documents locked inside. The proposed work needs to address the actual problem.
Agree the visit details.
Ask who will attend, the full expected price, any conditions and an estimated arrival. A call is not a confirmed dispatch until the provider accepts the visit. If the call is not answered or you have no confirmation, do not assume someone is on the way.
Confirm authorization and scope.
Ask what evidence the provider requires to establish that you may access the vehicle. Tell them about a rental, fleet or borrowed vehicle. Agree the proposed work and price before work starts.
Who performs the work?
Vehicle entry is performed by the independent service provider you agree to use. Get their name on the phone and keep the visit and price details for reference.
